2. Pushgateway

3. Apache httpd for web proxy gateway

  • The management console requires that only the web proxy gateway & the web service port number to be externally accessible outside firewall.
  • The other ports listed in the screenshot need to be accessible from within the HPE StoreEasy system.
  • The installer will validate if the ports are free and if they are in use, validation error will be shown to the user.
  • Installation instruction:

HPE recommends users update to this version at their earliest convenience.

Important:

User must be logged in as the local administrator to install or upgrade the HPE StoreEasy management console.

Notes:

  • HW event notification emails do not work if StoreEasy Storage system has been configured to use the iLO Shared Network Port

Workaround : Change the iLO network settings to enable iLO Dedicated Network Port. This will allow HW event notifications to be emailed.

Also, please upgrade iLO FW to the latest version (v1.43).

  • Historical capacity metrics (Available, Used, and Other) reported on the capacity trend chart may not add up to 100% when measurements are down-sampled. The management console reduces the total number of data points for displaying them in the chart, using the 99th-percentile over a dynamic time window. This reduction is done for each metric individually. In time ranges where capacity growth rates are high (negative or positive), the sum of Available, Used and Other may not be equal to the total capacity of the system.

Workaround: Use the current capacity utilization on the Dashboard for accurate representation of Available, Used, and Other capacity.

  • While using a lower resolution screen, the drop down menu for setting preferences on Automatic Updates may have a clipped display. Scroll the page to see and use all options.
  • When you rename a storage pool (array) and add a physical drive (disk) together, the status of the rename operation is not displayed in the Activity page.
  • When you use standard pool(array) creation to create multiple storage pools(array) and one of the pool(array) creations fail, the overall status of the operation will be reported as a failure.

Supported Devices and Features:

The HPE StoreEasy management console supports the HPE StoreEasy 1460, 1560, 1660 and 1860 product models.
